Company Drivers New Pay Package to begin November 4th, 2006
Benefits and Incentives
- Company Drivers earn up to $.34 plus bonuses on all dispatched miles using PC Miler Practical Version 20
- $12.00 Hook Pay
- Stop Off Pay $20.00 (excluding first and final stops)
- Non-billable detention - 2 hour free time loading and unloading. $10.00 an hour after two hours with cap of $50.00
- Billable detention - 2 hour free time loading and unloading. $15.00 an hour after two hours
- Orientation Pay
- Lay-over paid. Must deliver or pick up on time and have hours available to run. $50.00
- Referral Bonus $200.00 (on hired referrals only
- Safety Bonus earned quarterly – paid annually
- No preventable accidents
- Must attend 3 scheduled Quarterly Safety Meetings per year
- Quarterly mileage requirements
- Less than 27,000 but more than 9000 per quarter earns $150 annually
27,000 or more per quarter earns $300 annually
- Tolls paid on routes pre-approved by dispatcher (when presented with receipt)
- Scales paid (when presented with receipt)
- 80% drop and hook
- Prepass Norpass furnished
- No touch freight
- Weekly settlements
- Home weekly
- Company co-funded health insurance offered to full time employees after 3 months through Anthem - Blue Cross Blue Shield, the largest and most respected insurance provider for employee health care.
- Company co-funded pension plan offered to full time employees after 6 months

- Longevity incentive of $.005 per mile earned annually
Qualifiers for Performance Bonus
- Weekly minimum - 2250 dispatched miles using PC Miler Practical Version 20
- Available for legal dispatch
- No preventable late pick-ups or deliveries as instructed by dispatcher
- Immediate notification of late delivery or pick-up is mandatory
- No DOT reportable or Out of Service violations on driver or equipment. Examples: Log Violations, Speeding, Illegal Parking, etc.
(This includes any issued citations or warnings)
- Perform all required Check Calls to dispatch
- No call offs
- Must Check Call upon arrival and departure at shipper or consignee
- Must make Check Calls when home, Monday through Saturday. Required daily by 9:00am for status of availability – unless previously communicated to/by dispatch
- Must fuel at daily designated fuel stops
- Must report all trailer damage to (1-888-275-2088) prior to moving unit. Example: Hole in roof, door damage, flat tire, lights, etc. An Incident Report must be completed and turned in with paperwork.
- Must report O,S and D (overage, shortage and damage) immediately to dispatch at time of pick-up or delivery
- All required paperwork must be turned in by Monday 12:00 noon or postmarked by the 1st Monday following last communicated dispatch. There is zero tolerance for missing or incomplete paperwork
- Written notification of requested time off required 5 days in advance to dispatcher
- No confirmed discourteous treatment of customers and/or the general public. This includes malicious use of profane or abusive language
- The qualifiers above have to be met in order to earn the additional $.02 per dispatched mile, performance bonus. Qualifiers will be monitored on a weekly basis. If for some reason you fail to meet one or more of the above mentioned qualifiers in a given week, you will earn the base of $.32 per dispatched mile for that week.
